Announced-only in Budget 2027 speech tabled 9 Oct 2026 (MOF budget documents; owning agency has not been checked for an opened application). Speech para 131 and touchpoint: banks have started offering basic credit cards for small traders' working capital with interest capped at not more than 14% a year. Speech says banks have begun offering it, but bank product pages were not checked so status left unclear.
